An exporter born of a twelve-year partnership
BMT AFRICA S.à r.l. was incorporated in Abidjan in early 2023, out of a collaboration of more than twelve years between Ladji Meité in Côte d’Ivoire and Byriel Group ApS in Denmark. The company did not start by looking for suppliers — it grew out of a network that already existed.

What we hold to
Sourcing that pays the farmer. Our volumes move through identified partner cooperatives, not anonymous middlemen. That is the precondition for real traceability — and, incidentally, what the European market now demands.
Quality control we do not perform ourselves. Pre-shipment inspection is entrusted to an independent third party, chosen by the buyer.
Youth employment and soil preservation are not a CSR section here. They are the two conditions for the sector we live from to still exist in twenty years.
